The car is not the problem. It is our lifestyle that is the problem.

On our ranch, we use the car to go to town to get food, medicine, other needs.

On the ranch we use trucks, but the real help is done by the horses. They can go where cars cannot.

My point. The car is a useful tool. But it is not the only tool..

Yeah, I try to be thoughtful about the car use -- ride my bike, take public transport or walk when I can. But sometimes it's the only tool for the job, for sure.
