Melinda.

I am lost, lost, lost in the sea of your collected posts, comments, banners, questions, promotions, and other categories I can't recall that I found on your website.

But first, let me tell you that LOVE love love your content and I feel instantly sympatico with all the people who post here ( but how they pick where and what to posts baffles my simplistic brain. Let me give you a simple illustration. Imagine a tin can in the middle of a circle of 100 super powerful electro-magnets. When the magnets get turned on, the tin can is instantly pulled in 100 directions simultaneously. This causes the poor tin can not to go anywhere, but to spin in place. That's how I felt when I visited your site. To paraphrase Coleridge, I found "Content, content everywhere, nor any drop I can use."

Since we share a number of interests, it would be great if we could somehow connect.

My name is Edward Hallowell, but I am called Ned. I'm amazed to tell you I'm 75 years old, married 35 years, 3 kids ages 35, 32, 30. My wife and I live in Arlington, MA. Two of our kids live in NYC and the third in LA. I'm a psychiatrist and a writer. I've written (and seen published) 22 books, and am work on no. 23. I'm best known for my books on ADHD (Driven to DIstraction and others) but my favorite of my books is The Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness.

Shd you want to respond to this note, the best way is by email (Drhallowell@gmail.com) or text, 781-248-8198.

Warm wishes,

Ned Hallowell

My child has reached college age, so letting go remains the big parenting challenge.
