Thank you for telling your story. My older brother’s wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was sent home for her final days. My brother has been diagnosed with dementia and neither want to talk on the phone. My adult nephews are trying to bear the load at this time. Since I can’t talk to either of them, after listening to this story, I see that I should write and tell them how much I appreciate all the time we have together. There’s little else I can do but show love and kindness.
